An adventuresome updo - Hair piled high

While you can have an updo without having long hair there is no doubt that long hair opens up many more possibilities.

Here we have hair piled high on the head and used to add a little mysterey and dramatic effect by covering part of the face.  It certainly adds a look of sophistication and adventure.  With some carefully concealed clips the hair covering the face can be let down to drape over the shoulder giving a more traditional updo look.

This prom hairstyle is likely to be pretty high maintenance and need frequent attention.  If you want to strut your stuff on the dance floor it might be one to avoid.
